Nada Johnson is a trusted and skilled Mediator, Registered Social Worker, and Organizational Consultant with nearly a decade of experience helping organizations including condominium boards, non-profit boards, organizational and board leaders resolve conflict, strengthen governance, and rebuild trust.

At Board Mediation Experts, Nada combines her expertise in workplace mediation, board governance, and leadership development to help boards navigate conflict with integrity, empathy, and professionalism.

 

Her approach transforms tension into collaboration through neutral mediation, practical training, and personalized coaching.

Nada’s deep understanding of board operations comes from her leadership across multiple organizations — including experience as the Vice-President of Soroptimist International of Toronto, Board Director at Luke’s Place, and former Board Chair of the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre and Board Director at Unison Health and Community Services. Nada has contributed to board governance, strategic directions, quality improvement and equity. 

In addition to her mediation work, Nada has an extensive background in education and leadership. As a former Professor in Centennial College’s School of Business and former Faculty Advisor at Dalhousie University, she has taught and mentored emerging professionals in communication, ethics, and conflict resolution — skills she now brings to her work with boards and organizations.

With a strong foundation in trauma-informed practice, anti-oppressive leadership, and conflict transformation, Nada helps boards move from tension to trust — creating environments where collaboration, accountability, and respect thrive.
