Nada Johnson is an accomplished and skilled Mediator, Registered Social Worker and former Professor with close to decade of experience supporting boards, leaders, and communities through conflict resolution, mediation, and organizational training.

Her work is grounded in the belief that conflict, when guided with skill and compassion, can become an opportunity for growth, understanding, and renewed trust.

Nada brings an exceptional blend of academic expertise, governance experience, and hands-on leadership to her mediation practice. As a Family and Workplace Mediator, she has worked extensively with organizations to address complex interpersonal dynamics, rebuild collaboration, and enhance board effectiveness through facilitated dialogue and tailored training.

Nada’s governance expertise comes from years of service across multiple boards and leadership roles in the non-profit, community, and educational sectors. Her firsthand understanding of board operations and conflict dynamics allows her to help boards navigate challenges with professionalism and foresight.

As a former Board Chair, Nada provided strong, equity-focused leadership rooted in anti-racism and anti-oppression frameworks. She guided the organization through strategic planning, risk management, and policy development to ensure sustainable, accountable, and inclusive service delivery.

As a former Professor of Business and Marketing, Nada taught in the Department of Marketing, Retail, and Project Management Studies, preparing students to become industry-ready professionals. Her courses emphasized leadership, organizational communication, and ethical decision-making—skills that directly inform her mediation and board consulting work.
